Worst Christmas Presents

 So far the worst gift would be last year at a family function we did a pass the present thing where everyone brought a $25 gift.  I brought a movie package with popcorn bucket, popcorn, candy and a $20 Gift Card to the movies. My boyfriend got a portable charging station  that you can plug into your car, my mom got a video camera, my sister got a gift card and me....! I got a luggage scale! I have been on a plane once in my entire life! And no need for it! Needless to say epic disappointment especially when the two lottery tickets that came with it were losers! I'm bringing an MP4 player and headphones to this year's function!! If I get another crappy gift EVERYONE is in trouble! LOL!

My train of thought has derailed! Watch Out for Ramblings!

I know myself pretty well! I'm very self-aware! I know I get easily addicted to things which is why I don't smoke or drink or apply for credit cards! Several times I've used Bill-Me-Later through paypal &...... remembered exactly why I don't have credit cards! I want so many things....coupons through ebay and gifts for others.... I love spoiling people rotten!! I just do not have the resources to do that!! >.< But that never stops me from trying! Last Christmas my boyfriend and I did one of those present programs where you buy presents for a child who most likely won't be getting them otherwise. I love participating in programs like this my gramma may used to run the one at our church it was called "Angel Tree"! My gramma didn't have very much money but she would take it upon herself to get gifts for all the children that did not get picked off the tree....each child received 1 toy and a coat/gloves! My boyfriend and I picked this young girl who loved fairies and princess! Can you guess what happened next?! That's right I used my super spoiling powers to hook the girl up with enough stuff to last her until her birthday! We got her a Disney figurine set with EVERY Disney Princess in it, a princess craft, a fairy velet poster, princess coloring book and some other stuff!! I had so much fun and can NOT wait for Christmas this year! Though....my boyfriend picked our Christmas kid from the place he worked and he no longer works there...so if anyone knows anyone that needs some spoiling this Holiday Season I'm your girl!! It's not just Christmas I look for any opportunity to spoil people....Birthdays, baby showers, congratulations.... anything and everything!

Its probably about time I get back to why I started this post in the first place! I have grown an addiction to giveaways! I LOVE entering them! WINNING them! Seeing more of them pop up everyday!! Eeeeeppp!!! I'm getting really excited just talking about them!! I'm working on controlling how much time I spend one entering giveaways....my boyfriend's getting jealous of our computer!! I have NO intention of stopping so if you know of any giveaways going on PLEASE Share!!

National Gratitude Day

Question: who in your life most deserves to be thanked on National Gratitude Day?

My Answer:

Torn between my three favorite people: my mom, my gramma and my boyfriend! My mom is always there to support me, my gramma helped our family through some rough times and my boyfriend has helped me grow so much in the time we've been dating!! All of them have made me who I am today and they ALL deserved to be thanked! A card & a gift are NOT nearly enough of way to thank them for what they've done!! BUT its a start!! <3

One of my many food issues

I have this thing against certain green foods! My church family and I had a fellowship meal for St. Patrick's Day one year and.......man was it unforgettable!! Just about every thing was green there were things that were supposed to be green like broccoli and pudding then there were things that were NOT supposed to be green!! Like tatter tots, chicken nuggets and so much more food!! I have never forgotten that day though I suppose I shouldn't just turn my back on all not normally green foods!!

favorite things about this summer

my favorite thing i did this summer SO FAR was go to Maine with my family! they go every year and this year was my second time! they drive me absolutely bananas while we are there but they are still memories i wouldn't change for all the money in the world....coupons maybe but not money!! hahaha just playing!! my great aunt bet comes with us and this year she turned 96! so trips together like this are even more precious now that she's getting up there in age!!

The State Fair

I was entering a giveaway this evening and one of the entries asked for you to comment on what your favorite part of the fair was!!

I said:

My favorite part is hanging out with my family, checking out the crap building, getting free stuff, going to the lottery building and getting this years lottery ticket and squeezy thing :D checking out the sand & butter sculptures, eating a baked potato that you have to stand in line for an hour to get! going to the cow building and naming them all with whatever name pops in to my head! playing the dime game with the dimes i saved up ALL WEEK to get cups and plates and bowls that won't match with anything you have in your house!! eating all the yummy fatty fried oreos and fried dough and other food i can get my parents to buy me! Getting grossed out by "this years fried food" knowing im probably not going to try it but that someone in my family will JUST love it!! going to the native american village to be proud of my 1/16th native american heritage which is by far my favorite part of my heritage! getting really excited when you run into someone you know but didn't know they were there!! Watching the butt end of a free concert in chevy court or whatever they call it now!! Drinking 25 cent milk and carry around a backpack of free crap that you'll find in your bedroom 5 months later just to recycle or throw out!! And enjoying everything else the fair has to offer...like STATE PRIDE!!! :D <3 <3 <3 I can't make it this year and it breaks my heart its the ONE thing i look forward to every year!! My favorite holiday i suppose!! NEXT YEAR I AM GOING AND NOTHING WILL STOP ME!!

My boyfriend works two jobs and is saving money for our big family trip to NC the week of labor day and says we just won't be able to make it to the fair this year! I'm crushed being as its the one thing I look forward to ALL year!!

One thing that should be known about me and NEVER forgotten is that I'm a PERSISTENT person!! Nothing and I mean NOTHING gets in the way of me and something I want to do!!!

So WATCH OUT!!! BWA HA HA HA HA    >_<

Me & My Blog Goals

Hi I'm Sam! I've had a long road I've traveled down to get to where I am! But I made it all the way to......21!!! Whoop Whoop!! I try to stay as optimistic as I can!! I honestly believe if you start the day thinking its going to be great you have a better chance of having a great day!! To me attitude and personality are very important!! In all honesty I doubt anyone besides me will read this blog its mainly for me to get things off my chest!! Things that I can't and won't say to anyone else because I KNOW it will hurt their feelings!! I guess I better get to bed....hopefully this blog will be something that I can and will be able to do consistently!! Consistency is not something I am capable of achieving at this current point in time!! Maybe that should be one of my goals..... Consistency, Optimism, Staying true to myself and lots more stuff!!
